It can be a little tough to get excited about spring when you live in the Bay Area and the sky’s just dumped a couple of inches on you (you know, just to keep you in your place), but it gets a little easier when the boys at Wings + Horns share the lookbook for their spring/summer 2013 collection. A distinctly vintage-inspired element has crept into the collection, expressed in washed and distressed fabrics. Military-inflected details remain a major part of the collection, with functionality playing a big role in how jackets, pants, and shirts are cut. Tactile new textiles like technical knitted nylon, washed gauze, slubby linen-blends add a new dimension of texture, too. We’re also proud to announce that for this collection, Wings + Horns will be producing their first ever pre-collection, with transitional pieces that will take you from winter to spring effortlessly.
Stay tuned for more details soon!
