Unless you’ve been on a Peace Corps mission, spelunking through Vietnam, or living under a rock, there’s no way that you could have missed the rising star of Alexandre Mattiussi’s label AMI. After stints at Dior and Givenchy, Mattiussi has been crowned one of the newest savants of menswear and with dressed down tailoring and dressed up sportswear, it’s easy to see why guys are so drawn his cheeky sense of style.
Windowpane checks, smiley faces, bright shots of primary shades, and oh-so-lovingly-washed denim all make their appearances in this smartly updated homage to 90’s American teenage sitcoms. After all, everyone wants to be Zack Morris, or at least be as cool as he was.
